Directions: The use of verb tenses, expressions, fluency, sentence structure, and comprehension will further be evaluated in the following items. You are given ten (10) minutes to answer all of it.

You’ll need:

• a computer with internet connection

• speakers and a microphone. Many computers will have these built in (especially laptops), and many webcams (see below) also have microphones built in. You can also use a headphones-and-microphone headset that can be bought quite cheaply.

스피커와 마이크. 대부분의 컴퓨터에 있습니다 (특히 노트북에는 다 있습니다), 그리고 대부분의 웹캠에도 마이크가 달려있어요. 또한 헤드폰이나 마이크가 달린 헤드셋을 사용할 수 도 있습니다. 없으시면 저렴한 가격에 사실 수 있어요.

• a webcam. This is a small camera that connects to your computer through a USB port, if it isn’t already built into your screen. A webcam isn’t compulsory, but video calls are a key function of Skype, and you can’t make them without one. If you don’t have webcam you can use your smart phone camera after set up Skype.
• 웹캠은 작은 카메라로서 USB포트를 이용해서 컴퓨터에 연결할 수 있어요. 웹캠이 의무적으로 필요한 것은 아닙니다. 하지만 스카이프의 화상통화 기능은 수업에서 매우 중요합니다. 만약에 웹캠이 없다면 스마트폰에 스카이프를 설치한 후 스마트폰 카메라로 스카이프 화상통화를 이용하시면 됩니다.
